Allen Faulkner was truly a guiding light in our Club. A keen competitor in an Anglia and a Mk1 Escort, a Ford man through and through. He was supportive of all Lincoln Motor Cycle and Car Club members in whichever discipline they competed.

He was the Club Treasurer for 50 years; he taught us all prudent accounting. As well as the Car Competition Committee Chairman, who was the leader in bringing 12 Car Rallies back, not only to our club members but to many other competitors in local Lincolnshire clubs.

Allen was a founder member of “The Lincolnshire Mafia”, our rally marshalling team that was the envy of member clubs in the 80’ and 90’s. Also the Chief Timekeeper on the Stage and Road events that we ran as a club and when not officiating he was a fierce competitor on our gymkhana events.

He was a great ambassador of Lincoln Motor Cycle and Car Club, and is sadly missed.

In his memory the club are organising the Allen Faulkner Memorial Tour, a 100 mile touring assembly in the Lincolnshire wolds, which will be held on June 28th 2026
